Lessons are on a weekly one-to-one basis, and are available in either 30 minute or 1 hour slots.

Teaching takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday and generally follows Northumberland LEA school term dates. Therefore there are 6 lesson block periods during the academic year.

Session Period dates for 2024 / 2025

• Tue 9th September - Wed 23rd October 2024       (6 lessons)

• Tue 5th November - Wed 18th December 2024 (7 lessons)            

• Tue 7th January - Wed 19th February 2025 (7 lessons) 

• Tue 4th March - Wed 9th April  2025 (6 lessons) 

• Tue 30th April - Wed 21st May 2025 (4 lessons) 

• Tue 3rd June - Wed 16th July 2025 (7 lessons)

Note: Additional lessons are sometimes available outside of the above date periods. Regular students will be notified in advance about these opportunities.

Standard Lesson Rates

• Standard 30 minute lesson £18                                                                                      

• Taster/Trial Lesson – 30 minutes £15

Prepayment Discount

Regular students will receive a Prepayment Invoice before the start of each Session Period offering a substantial discount on Standard Lesson Rates. Prepayment rates for 2024/2025 are:

• 4 week Session £60

• 5 week Session £72

• 6 week Session £84 

• 7 week Session £98 ​

• 8 week Session £110 (£13.75/lesson) - Save £34 on Standard Lesson Rates

If you do not wish to prepay for your lessons, Standard Rates will apply.

Lesson cancellation policy

Important - all missed & cancelled lessons are chargeable in full.

• If I need to cancel your lesson, you will be offered the choice of an alternate lesson time in the same week, or a credit on your next Prepayment Invoice.

• If you have planned absence of any length during a Session Period, a maximum of £13 will be deducted from your Prepayment Invoice, only when informed before the start of a Session period.
